Brenda’s Siu Mais at Hope Street Festival, Sunday 18th September

BaoXen is participating at the 6th Hope Street Feast which offers activities for everyone. There are Open days and activities around the area including Philharmonic, Unity Theatre, Blackburne House, Merseyside Dance Initiative, Hope Street Hotel, the Masonic Hall, the Caledonia pub, and both Liverpool Cathedral and the Metropolitan Cathedral. Festival Bistro Village at the Waterfront

It was an exciting day as the Cunard Queen Elizabeth Cruise Liner visit Liverpool, Thursday 8th September. Other activities included Tall Ships and Power Boats along the waterfront. BaoXen was one of 7 market stalls at the Bistro Village. Thousands turned up on Saturday evening to watch Beverly Knight perform at the Waterfront stage. However, Sunday’s concert was cancelled due to high winds at the Pier Head.

 

Food & Drink Festival, Sefton Park 2011

Into it’s 4th year, the Food & Drink Festival extended over 2 days at Sefton Park. Over 90 market stalls took part in what is the largest gathering in Liverpool so far. Other than the stalls, there were food demonstrations from celebrity chefs such as Brian Mellor, Simon Rimmer, Stefan Gates and Paul Askew of the London Carriage Works.

Brenda’s Siu Mai took part for the second year at Sefton Park. Celebrity chef Ian Penelly was this year’s guest appearance. It was estimated more than 40,000 visitors enjoyed this year’s event.
